Financial Protection

ATOL & ABTA Protection

All bookings made through Luxe Cloud Getaways are ABTA protected and ATOL bonded. This page explains what those two schemes are and what they cover, so you know exactly what protection your booking carries.

What Is ATOL Protection?

ATOL (Air Travel Organiser's Licence) is a UK financial protection scheme run by the Civil Aviation Authority. When a holiday that includes a flight is ATOL protected, you're financially protected if the travel company you booked through were to fail — you'd be entitled to a refund, or if you were already abroad, help getting home.

What Is ABTA Protection?

ABTA (the Association of British Travel Agents) sets standards of service for its members and provides financial protection for holidays that fall outside ATOL's remit (for example, package holidays without a flight element). ABTA membership also means adherence to its code of conduct.
